On Schreiner vs. Sprinkle
When Complementarians Switch Sides
Preston Sprinkle’s book, From Genesis to Junia, is getting lots of attention right now. I’ve not read it … yet, but certainly plan to do so. Of course, those who read my ‘Stack here know that I’m already a committed biblical egalitarian, but I do get kinda amp’d up when complementarian scholar types do their homework and “change sides.”
When I read Andrew Bartlett’s robust response to Tom Schreiner’s critique of Sprinkle’s book, I was delighted. And, Sprinkle has graciously and ably responded to Schreiner here. Do pop over and read Bartlett’s most excellent article, “Holey Exegesis: Schreiner vs. Sprinkle”!
See also, Mike Bird’s response, which is historically rooted and biblically solid.
